To RSC from I-5 :
From I-5 go to Hwy 126 East (Springfield).  Take the Marcola/42nd St exit.  Turn right and go to Main St.  Turn right on Main St. and head West 10 blocks to 32nd St.  You'll see Les Schwab's on the right.  Turn left on 32nd S. and we're right there.  We are right on the corner of 32nd St and Main St, diagonally across from Les Schwab.

Order Lunch From Concessions!
Big Town Hero has gone out of business, but we have set up our own sandwich shop in concessions and hired some of their employees to help.  We are still doing the $7.50 box lunch sale through concessions. Orders need to be in by 10:30am, and will be available for pick up around 12:30pm in concessions. Look for the PDF at the bottom of the page. If you want to fax your order in, that is great, just pre-pay by 10:30am in order to get sandwiches by 12:30pm. 
Sandwiches will be available all day but ordered lunches are given priority.

We have expanded offerings in concessions also.  We will be posting a link at the bottom of this page for both box lunches and the new menu.  This menu may change due to pricing and availability of foods.

We now have an ATM for cash withdrawals.

My kids that are not participating in the tournament, usually come and play somewhere in the building during tournaments.  Is this ok?
No, the child must be under your supervision at all times. Letting them roam the building unattended is not exceptable. We frequently have multiple events going on and having unattended kiddos roaming the building can be hazardous to their health. Please keep them in sight..

Can I park overnight in the lot with my camper/RV? 
NO. If you are bringing a camper or RV you must be aware that Springfield City ordinance does not allow for overnight parking in our lot due to abuses in the past.  Walmart has also had the same experiences adn no longer allows overnight parking at its Springfield location. If you do bring a camper or RV, feel free to park in the grassy and gravel section north of the building.

Can I bring my teams food in the building?
NO, outside food, coolers, or tables are allowed.  Any outside food, coolers, or tables will be confiscated.

In the past we have pitched a tent and table in the parking lot and BBQ, is this allowed?
No. Tents, tables and BBQing are not allowed in the parking lot. Buffet tables are NOT allowed in the parking lot. Using the rear of a SUV as a buffet is expectable. Camping chairs may be used.

DAY OF TOURNAMENT!!

7:15am Doors open
            Please have exact change for admission ready in hand to speed up check in.
            Admission rates are as follows:

  • Admission is $3 for adults
  • $2 for 8-18 youth
  • 8 and younger are free

PLAYERS ARE TO CAMP IN ASSIGNED AREAS

DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE FOOD WITH YOU INSIDE THE FACILITY. 
Any violation of this rule and the party may be warned, penalized points, or ejected from the tournament without reimbursement. The only exception is those participants with medical issues that may need to be varified.  The Coach will need to let the TD in charge know in the TD meeting so it can be noted. 

Bags may be checked for food.

COOLERS ARE NOT PERMITTED.

7:40 am Coaches Meetings (Required attendance)

All coaches are to be present at this meeting. If a coach is not present at this meeting they will be called immediately after the meeting. If your team is going to be late, you may be removed from the tournament without reimbursement.       

8:00 am POOL PLAY BEGINS

No pets, except for trained service dogs.  Please have your service card on hand.

As a reminder:

  • Gate Fees: $3--Adults, $2--Children from 8-18yrs, Free--Children under 8yrs
  • Concessions: Available
  • Coolers and tables: No Outside Food Allowed or Tables
  • Water only: Allowed in Plastic or Aluminum Contanier/ No Glass
  • Lockers: Available - bring your own lock
  • Chairs: Only Allowed with Blanket or Rug Underneath
  • Parking: Overnight parking is no longer allowed by city ordinance, no tents in parking lot, any food being eaten outside must be stored in a vehicle, RV's should not be taking prime parking spots.

  • All RSC tournaments are sanctioned through USA Volleyball.

If you would like to use our fitness facility you may pay the additional $2 to use the equipment. You will be given a special stamp or band to signify that you have paid. Thanks for your cooperation.
